The Encyclopedia of Conservatism – Building a Digital Home for Intellectual Conservatism
We built a digital home for a collective of over 100 professors, lawyers, journalists, and students to create the world's first comprehensive encyclopedia of conservatism. The mission was clear: counter the misrepresentation of conservative thought by creating a trustworthy, educational resource that explains why conservatives think the way they do. We designed a timeless visual identity rooted in tradition and intellectual rigor, then built an intuitive platform on WordPress with a comprehensive CMS, organizing 150+ articles around core themes like Natural Law, Tradition, and Capitalism. The result is a living library that feels authoritative yet inviting—giving curious readers, whether skeptical or sympathetic, a place to explore conservative ideas on their own terms.
